The Thinking Studio — Abhidnya Learning Spaces

Abhidnya Learning Spaces presents

One hour a week where your child learns to think — not just study.

A weekly virtual studio for students in Classes 6–12. No extra homework. No pressure. Just one hour of the kind of thinking school never quite gets to.

First session: Thursday, 20th March 2026  ·  Only 15 founding spots
Founding member rate: ₹499/month — locked for life as long as you continue. Offer closes 20th March.

The Gap We Are Closing

“My child knows the answer — but cannot solve the problem.”

Every parent sitting next to their child during homework has felt this. The definition is memorised. The formula is written. But ask a different question — and the mind goes blank.

This is not a knowledge problem. It is a thinking problem. And school doesn’t have time to fix it.

  • 📖Your child can recite what Inertia is — but cannot explain why the bus jerks when it stops.
  • 📐Your child memorises formulas — but freezes when the same concept appears in a different form.
  • 💭Your child studies hard — but struggles to connect what they learn to the world around them.
  • 😰Your child knows the content — but panics in exams because they don’t know how to think under pressure.

The Thinking Studio Approach

We don’t teach more. We teach differently.

Every session starts with a story from daily life — not a textbook. Students debate, discover, and arrive at the concept themselves. They leave not having been taught. Having thought.

01

The Hook

A paradox, a daily-life story, or a question about a kitchen object opens the session. No jargon. No formula. Just a question designed to make you genuinely curious.

02

The Deliberation

Students debate in small groups. The facilitator never gives the answer — only asks better questions. The room thinks together. Ideas come from students, not the teacher.

03

The Bridge

The concept is revealed — but by now students have already discovered it themselves. The Aha! belongs to them. That is why it stays. That is why it transfers to exams.

A Real Session, In Plain Language

See it before you believe it.

Sample Session — Week 3: Friction

“Why is it harder to walk on ice than on sand? Not why does science say so — but why does it feel that way? And what would you grab if gravity switched off for exactly 10 seconds?”
That question opens 30 minutes of student-led debate. They argue about grip, surfaces, and why water is slippery. By the end, they have explained Friction, Air Resistance, and Newton’s Laws — in their own words and their own examples. The facilitator never used the word “Friction” until the final five minutes.

That evening, without being asked, one student told his father: “Baba, did you know the reason shoes have grooves is the same reason tyres do?” That parent renewed before the next session.

Inside Every Session

One hour. Structured. Purposeful. Never boring.

10 min

The Hook

A mystery, a prop, or an incomplete story. One trigger question with no wrong answer. The room wakes up and leans in.

30 min

The Deliberation

Small breakout groups of 4–5. A “What if?” scenario. The facilitator listens, asks, and stays quiet. Students own the airtime and the thinking.

15 min

The Bridge

Groups share their Aha! moments. The facilitator reveals the connection to the school concept — which students have already discovered themselves.

5 min

The Pocket Thought

One small challenge for the week. Something to notice. Something to try. Something to bring to the dinner table tonight.

What It Costs

Less than tuition. More than tuition could ever give.

A standard tuition class costs ₹800–₹2,000 a month and delivers content your child already has in school. The Thinking Studio delivers what school and tuition cannot — the ability to think independently.

“I once took a 3-hour class with business management students by drawing two circles on a board. Village A. Village B. That is all. I asked them to let their imagination go wild. Every single one pitched in. I taught an entire module of developmental economics through one story and one question.”

Questions Parents Actually Ask

Before you register.

Is this a tuition class or a coaching centre?

Neither. The Thinking Studio is a weekly thinking session — not a class. There are no notes to copy, no homework to submit, and no marks to chase. Your child will leave each session with a question, not an answer. That question is the product.

Will this help with school exams?

Yes — but not the way tuition does. Tuition repeats what school already taught. The Thinking Studio teaches your child how to read a question, understand what it is really asking, and approach it from first principles. This is the skill that separates a 70% student from a 90% student — and it cannot be drilled in by giving more content.

My child is already stressed. Will this add pressure?

The opposite. There are no wrong answers in the Studio. The deliberation phase is designed so your child feels their ideas are valued, not judged. Many parents report that their child becomes calmer about school after a few sessions — because they stop being afraid of questions they don’t know the answer to yet.

How is this different from a school enrichment programme?

Most enrichment programmes are content in a different format. The Thinking Studio is a process — a weekly practice of decoding, debating, and discovering. The process is the permanent skill that transfers to every subject, every exam, and every life situation your child will face.

What if we miss a session?

Each session is self-contained — your child can rejoin the following week without being lost. The Monthly Thinking Snapshot keeps parents updated on what was covered and what their child discovered.

Who is the facilitator?

The founding batches are led personally by Milind — educator, researcher, and founder of Abhidnya Learning Spaces. Over 20 years of classroom experience across ages 6 to 60, a Master’s in Data Science, and a published research record through ALERTS. You are getting the original.
